Sitting here watching "Camp Rock", I am confronted with the folly of seeking the approval of others as a means of "feeling good about ourselves" and "identity" and "confidence"--ultimately, it is all self-centered approach to life with the idol of ourselves--we worship our own acceptance and approval from others.
Unfortunately, it is one of the reigning mantras of today's generation--oh, wait--and my generation.
Just a thought...
